Sony anuncia más de una docena de nuevos juegos independientes para PS4 – 3/3
1 mayo 2014Sony Computer Entertainment ha presentado hasta trece nuevos juegos de corte independiente para la plataforma de sobremesa PlayStation 4 y algunos también para la portátil PS VITA, de géneros y temáticas diversas siendo estos: Apotheon de AlienTrap Games, Axiom Verge de Tom Happ, Chasm de Dicord Games, Drifter de Celsius Games Studios, Escape Goat de Magical TimeBean, Jamestown de Final Form, Nidhogg de Nesshof, Spelunky de Mossmouth, Ironclad Tactics de Zachtronics, Skulls of the Shogun de Plush Apocalypse Productios, Source de Fenix Fire, Starwhal: Just the Tip Flopping de Breakfall y Chariot de Frime.

Cuando el equipo de desarrolladores comenzaron a crear Source, pensaban crear algo completamente nuevo y único, profundamente inspirado en el estilo de juego de la clásica aventura Metroidvania. Para Fenix Fire,Metroidvania es un juego de aventuras especial que tiene muchos componentes importantes que son fantásticos.
Primero necesitaban crear un mundo expansivo y misterioso que explorar. Segundo, debería haber permanentes actualizacionse que son vitales para la supervivencia y el desarrollo de tu personaje. Por último, una historia rica y visual que se fuera desplegando simplemente al jugar. En unos meses de desarrollo estos chicos habían conseguido definir cómo abordarían estos aspectos tan familiares del género, e incluso cómo llevarlos un poco más allá con Source.
